Edith Lando VLC Reading Club

Have you ever wanted to expand your knowledge and learn more about the many facets of education?

Edith Lando VLC is pleased to partner with faculty members from Educational Technology, Counseling, Language and Literacy, Kinesiology and more to announce:  We’re hosting a (virtual) reading club!

Starting in September and every other month following that new reading material will be selected.  Each selection will be approximately 200 pages or less and discussion sessions will take place one month after the readings are announced.

Our in-depth talks will be 90 minutes each, and participants will leave with teacher resources and new connections from many departments.  Open to everyone, these workshops are free, readings and literature are provided well in advance, and faculty members will be facilitating deeper understanding of the many different pedagogies being explored.  This is an opportunity to listen and share with various departments and schools of thought within the Faculty of Education with  limited time and resource commitments.

Please click the join us button below to receive regular updates.  This list is for information only, registration will be required for each session if you’re interested in participating.
